How To Ask Your Husband For Forgiveness: 5 Steps to a Great Apology
Published at : November 26, 2021
"Every time you ask for forgiveness, you recognize that the biggest problems you face in life exist inside of you, not outside of you." ~ Paul David Tripp
If you want a healthy, thriving, loving marriage, you have to get comfortable with the prospect of being wrong once in a while and not so comfortable with the prospect of hurting your partner — both of which require getting really good at saying “I’m sorry”.
In this tutorial, the second in our two part series, we’ll continue using mountain climbing as a simile for the emotional exertion required to forgive: both to extend forgiveness (Part 1) and to request forgiveness (this video).
I’ll be your guide today through the 5 “camps” OR FIVE STEPS you will pass through in the challenging ascent to a real apology.
I’ll even show you what to say and how to say it if you want to get to the top of Mt Forgiveness - and believe me, you want to. The view is out of this world!
Stay tuned to WATCH Part 2 on Requesting Forgiveness (coming soon) to learn how to SAY you’re sorry and mean it.
