Ontel Brella Shield Car Windshield Sun Shade

1. Jami Morris (rating: 5/5) - Easy to put up
Now this is very easy to use. But I had to remove my phone mount to put up. If you have a goose neck car mount you will have to remove suction cup from mount.
2. Nicole (rating: 1/5) - Don’t Waste Your Money
I have a 2020 Chevy Malibu, she is my baby. I get inside today and I saw a scratch made by the brella visor. It is a pain to put in, and not worth the pain. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!
3. Stephanie Benfield (rating: 5/5) - Amazing
Does exactly as it says. Just open like an umbrella and close the same way. So much faster and hassle free compared to traditional window shields. Love the carry case easy to slide in after used.
4. Kindle Customer (rating: 3/5) - Needs to be a little more sturdy
Would give it more stars but after a few days one if the anchors/tabs that a poll us attached to broke. I can still use it but I feel that a product should last longer than a few days before something breaks on it. Other than that it works fine and keeps my van cooler.
5. Fashionlove 2599 (rating: 5/5) - Easy as opening an umbrella.
I purchased for my New 2021 Toyota Camry and it fits perfectly. If you, can open an umbrella ☔️ product is for you. Opens and closes easily and I can tell it’s keeping my car cooler. Store on my drivers door very convenient size. My window are tinted just extra added protection for my dash as well. I would recommend highly as it’s getting warmer.
6. BusyMom77 (rating: 1/5) - Broke first time used!!!
I was so excited to receive this, so my lunch breaks in my car would be cooler. As soon as I pulled it out I noticed some of the little pegs were not put in the little slip holders, no problem fixed that. I pushed it up and the handle broke at the top connector. Very poorly made, great concept which is why I bought it. It is just so cheaply made that it doesn’t work.
7. NMengesha (rating: 1/5) - Design flaws make it worthless

I waited 3 months to write a review so that I could see how the design held up over time. 3 weeks in one metal rod ripped through its housing. Now on month 3 there are 4 rods poking out. It’s no longer useable because the rods scratch the dashboard as I’m trying to put it in place. It’s an easy fix guys! Reinforce your rod pockets with a heavier duty fabric like canvas. Maybe it would bring up the cost of production by a few cents but it would result in customer satisfaction which would be worth the small margin of profit loss.
8. Military History Navy Man (rating: 1/5) - I couldn't rate this less than one star!
I originally gave this product a glowing review, but after using the the Brella Shield for about three weeks, the latching fixture at the top of the handle "stem" broke making the product all but useless. I contacted Ontel the merchandiser and sent two photos of the defective broken part. Ontel promises to reply in about two to three days. I contacted them about late July or early August. It is now September and still they have not responded. Considering they stopped advertising the Berella Shield around that time, I suspect they may have had other complaints and decided to not honor their policies. The Brella Shield Is not worth $2, to make a polite comment!
9. Solarbear (rating: 1/5) - Great until it broke!
I really liked this product, for the first 2 1/2 months I had it. It’s relatively easy to put up, and is effective at reflecting the sun. Until today, I liked it more than the many other types of windshield shades I’ve had - fun to use and super portable!Unfortunately when I tried to put it up when I got home today, I found the middle shaft had broken off where it attaches to the middle of the shade (see photo). I didn’t even know there was a plastic piece holding the aluminum shaft to the shade, it is inside the shaft so isn’t visible - until it snaps!I don’t think I’ve ever had an umbrella break like this; in any case, this was way too much to pay for 75 days of use. Hoping to get a replacement or refund but it’s too late to do it through Amazon at this point.
